SALARY:  90,000- 105,000

DESCRIPTIONS:

Responsible for all aspects of application design and development. The candidate will propose requirements, understand current business functionalities, propose alternatives, and then work on design and development of the proposed solutions.

Essential Functions: (80%)

·           Design and development of new systems with an emphasis on minimized maintenance requirements, as well as maintenance and enhancement of existing systems. Systems analysis design and debugging of new systems.

·           Write efficient code for the presentation (ASP.NET, HTML), Business (Components) and Data (Database SQLs, stored procedures, triggers, functions etc) layers to assist in Building Robust, Flexible, Scalable, High Available and cost-effective architecture.

·               Conversion of one group from ASP to ASP.net

·           Utilize the Rational Unified Process (RUP) development methodology and provide appropriate documentation/timelines in program and project related tasks.

·           Provide progress status reports, problem reports or reports on any issues pertaining to the projects to the superiors in order to foster good communication throughout project life cycle.

·            Participate in periodic code-reviews to ensure high quality.

·           Adopt and follow the Best Development Practices.

·           Acquire new knowledge through Training programs and/or books/web and keep current with technologies.

Other Functions: (20%)

·           Keep Development Leads informed about the status of day-to-day activities of the project.

·           Plan and execute testing and implementation of major systems.

·           Assist the Team Lead in technical development approaches.

REQUIREMENTS:

·            Bachelor degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience.

·           Five or more years programming and/or systems analysis experience.

·            Experience in software development environments such as ASP, ASP.net and AJAX are musts!

 C#.NET, Visual Interdev, DCOM, COM+, IIS, VB Script, XML/XSL, ASP.NET2.0, HTML and SQL, SQL Server

·           2 - 3 years of Microsoft .NET experience is required.

·            Background in technologies such as client/server, relational database management systems, object-oriented development, UML Modeling, and distributed object development.

·            Applications analysis and design experience.

·            Previous experience providing program design and system development services on systems projects required.

·           Good communicator and team player.
