Maybe we can share here knowledge that came out of our study group meeting (and, of course, anything learned outside of the meeting is helpful as well).

Some things I remember from the meeting:

• "Stream before object", e.g. xs.Serialize( stream, object );

• Private and Public variables and properties are serialized in Binary and SOAP. Only Public variables and properties are serialized in XML.

• Look out for the attributes in the code examples ([XMLAttribute], [XMLIgnore], [NonSerialized], etc.). They may help in quickly eliminating 1 or 2 of the multiple choice answers.
